Last month, I wrote a plea to all of you to help find Lambie, a lost stuffed lamb who went missing during the excitement of Christmas shopping. Candi Brown, mom of the toddler who lost her lamb, wrote me this:
I'm writing you as a last ditch effort to see if I can get the word out for our community to look for Lambie. I am desperate. As a mom, I know you know how much these transitional objects mean to our little ones. Our dog of 16 years died a month ago. It was a terrible loss for our family. Losing Lambie has been too much.
I posted the photo on this site, and on our fan page at Facebook, spreading the word to the community to help find Lambie. Many of you shared the photo of Lambie with all of your friends to spread the word even further. As a result, Lambie was found!
From Candi: "After 23 long days, Lambie was reunited with his faithful owner. I cannot believe we have him back with us. Someone found him in the Lost and Found at Macy's. Thank you all so much for all of your concern, sharing Lambie's story and getting the word out. We are so so happy!"
I am really, really proud to be a part of a community that did their best to help reunite this lost stuffed lamb with his "mom", helping a toddler girl to find the toy she cherishes so much. Thank you to everyone who helped to spread the word!
