Halloween costume ideas
Halloween is still a week away, and this year we're slightly less prepared. My son still doesn't even have a clue what he's going to be for Halloween!
In past years he's been a bear, the Grim Reaper, a zombie, and some scary monster like thing. It seems like he gravitates more towards the scary costumes. My daughter has been a bat, a fairy princess, a nerd, and one year she went as a pregnant teen (the scariest costume ever, lol!).
The photo to the right is our Halloween last year.

I'm very excited about our costumes. My husband is Chilean and people call him "Chile," so when I saw a baby Chili Pepper costume at this Spring's JBF Consignment Sale, I snatched it up. So our 3.5 month baby girl's costume was decided before she was even born! And a few weeks ago, I decided to make matching pepper costumes for my husband and I. We'll be a "bunch of peppers." I'm quite surprised with how well they are turning out so far (thanks to some guidance from a seamstress friend and my mom), but I'm not quite done. I actually need to stop by the fabric store on my way home today.
