Two new members came to me today, wondering about how to navigate through the SR Mom website. I'm wondering, are any more of you having troubles with the site, or don't understand how it works? If so, I'd love to be able to help.
The purpose behind SantaRosaMom is to create a place where moms can meet and share conversation. Sometimes that conversation stays here. Other times it graduates from the board and develops into IRL (in real life) friendships. The boards are also a place where you can learn new things - whether it be tidbits from the news or celebrity trash, or the latest word on recalls or tips on raising kids - or anything else that comes up. There is NO topic off limits here.
Just in case there are more of you who don't know how to take advantage of how the boards work, I'd like to share what I've already told a couple of moms already on their pages. If you have any questions on how to become more involved, leave me a comment on my page, privately message me on the boards, or email me at email@example.com
. The same goes if you have suggestions on what you'd like to see here, or if you have opportunities you'd like SantaRosaMom.com to partner with you on. I am available to all of you whenever you need me!
Using the boards at SantaRosaMom.com
If you look in the FAQ section in the forums, there are answers to some of the questions you might have. But I'll give you a quick crash course.
The main page of SantaRosaMom.com shows all the most recent posts and discussions. If you look in the "forums" area, you will see all of the discussions broken down by category. This way it's easier to find a certain type of topic. We have an Events area where anyone can post events of all types, or find something to do throughout the month. And you can even add your own blog entries in our Blogs area.
If you haven't already, I recommend that you join our Facebook page. It's a great way to keep up with everything that is going on at SantaRosaMom.com, plus take part in additional conversation. Another great way is to subscribe to our newsletter.
Let me know if you have any questions!
