Parents bored by playtime

30% of moms and dads find playing with their kids "boring", according to a British study. I can't help but understand as I think of several times I tried to beg off of a tea party or a wrestling match just to get a few minutes to myself to do something exciting - like read the newspaper.

Do you sometimes cringe when it comes to playtime with your kids?

Yes. I really enjoy it sometimes and other times I just go through the motions out of a sense of obligation. My state of mind and my tiredness level dictates how much I enjoy or dread it... and the height of the pile of laundry in the garage.
