Yesterday, my boyfriend's 11 year old daughter showed me the back-to-school clothes her mom bought her. I was time-warped immediately to some sort of preadolescent Sixteen Candles underground dream. Turquious, Hot-Pink, Yellow, NEON, NEON, NEON! It's so strange how things come back! Gosh, I feel old.

I was fresh out of ideas on where we should go this weekend and Josh found a park with trails in Napa, so we set out for Skyline Park (which is a bit far from Santa Rosa). Skyline park is really odd...not your typical Regional or State Park. We walked though some weird road where tents were pitched and past a horse coral to get to the trail head. Josh and I recently took our last "Sonoma County Adventure" to the Hallberg Butterfly Gardens in Sebastopol, CA. I have always loved butterflies so I was delighted to know that a place like this existed so close to home! We went on their annual "Free" day last Sunday so it was very crowded.
