We had a nice Sunday with all the kids at the Hallberg Butterfly Gardens in Sebastopol even though my Kaylee fell in the Goldfish Pond!! She is a waterbaby for sure. She didn't really even mind being covered in pond gunk! We wiped her down and went on with the tour. Because it was a free day, there were tons of people there so it was difficult to just hang out and look for the butterflies (we didn't see many) but we had a great time! It's a beautiful 9 acre property. There are interactive exhibits that the kids enjoyed (looking at caterpillars and butterflies through microscopes) and the people that worked there were super friendly and helpful. I would recommend going on a regular day to avoid the crowds we dealt with. It's only $2 - $5 to get in depending on your age. It makes for a nice outing for sure :)
